Return & Exchange Policy

The Boat Shops

All Sales Are Final

Due to the nature of large-vessel purchases, all sales at The Boat Shops are final at the time of purchase. We strongly encourage buyers to conduct thorough inspections, sea trials when applicable, and ask all necessary questions prior to completing a transaction.

Return Eligibility

The Boat Shops does not accept returns on new or used watercraft.

  • Used Boats: All pre-owned vessel sales are strictly final and sold as-is. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted under any circumstance.
  • New Boats: A return or exchange inquiry may only be considered after the manufacturer’s warranty claim has been fully processed and all applicable warranty remedies have been exhausted. Return or exchange eligibility is determined solely upon confirmation that no warranty remedy remains available.

Manufacturer Warranty

All new boats sold by The Boat Shops are covered by the respective manufacturer’s warranty.

Customers experiencing issues with their vessel must contact The Boat Shops directly to initiate a warranty claim. Our team will manage the warranty process with the manufacturer on your behalf from start to finish.

Exchange Policy

In the rare event that a return or exchange is approved following the completed warranty process:

  • The resolution will be in the form of an exchange only.
  • No cash refunds will be issued.
  • No store credit will be issued.
  • The exchange will be for a comparable vessel of equal or mutually agreed-upon value, subject to availability.

Transport & Logistics Costs
 In any manufacturer-approved exchange case, all transportation, hauling, and logistics costs associated with returning the original vessel will be the responsibility of the client.

Used Boats

All used boats are sold as-is.
All used boat sales are final.
No exceptions.
